Object Information:

 

NGC 7635 - also known as the Bubble Nebula,

Open clusters Messier 52 and Czernik 43

 

The Bubble Nebula, seen in the center of the frame,  is believed to be a rapidly expanding shell of ionized gas that is created by the stellar wind of a massive star.  Also seen at the upper left of the frame is Messier 52, an open cluster of stars that is about 3,900 light years distant and about 15 light years across.  The smaller open cluster Czernik 43 is seen to the lower left of Messier 52.
